Standard diameters and needles

EP diameters from 0.4 to 4; USP diameters from 8/0 to 1. The Assuven is assembled with atraumatic needles in AISI 300 or AISI 400 stainless steel, it is also packaged in bags containing Teflon pledget.

Indications

In cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, general surgery, ophthalmic, plastic, thoracic surgery, whenever you need to slowly suture tissues scarring or requiring a non-absorbable suture; like most monofilament sutures, Assuven is indicated when it is necessary to suture infected or contaminated tissues; furthermore, since it does not adhere to the tissues, it is used when you want to remove the suture in the post-operative course.
